i had a gold braclet which was handed down from my mother which i obviously grew out of but i still have, it had to get cut off my wrist, but its something i can hand down to my children..
A locket would very nice and sentimental with possibly a picture of your family inside, you could even try engraving it.
This can be a bit pricey, but it is something she can keep forever.

I would take a special picture with your baby girl and then write her a letter on pretty stationary telling her how much you love her and anything that comes to mind. I like the locket and bracelet idea but something written from the heart saying how important and love she is so much more personal and I guarantee that letter/picture will be kept for life.
