they live in this place and pay the owner for the stuff they use its slavery pretty much
They spray cheap lead-based paints on the ornaments, which US companies are not allowed to use to make the same ornament, and then they ship it here for us to buy, only to have it break when taking it out of the package, and then fill our landfills.
The invisible hand takes care of us all.
Don’t you agree that it would be better if they could go to school? like you lucky one that have a computer and Internet? If they could read, wouldn’t be great?
Wow… You should have seen my first job… Now that was slave labor & I live in the USA… I worked 6 days a week at a restraunt for 2.50 an hour (no tips) and my boss was the devil…
So much for “A rising tide lifts all boats”
If you know what makes a factory a sweatshop, you’ll see it here: workers standing dangerously near moving machinery, using paint sprayers without respirators, kids working on the assembly line. Keep up the amazing documentation work, NLC; these videos need to be seen and understood.
These kids work because they want to work, not because they are forced to. Factories like this one pay better than the alternatives. If the children weren’t allowed to work they would likely turn to crime or starve.
i see alot of happy smiling chinese in this video. where is the labor torture???
good job for your hard working for are wal-mart
looks a lot better than wading in a rice paddy.
