Bouquets – The majority of brides choose red flowers for their Christmas wedding with lots of greenery. Although you should not rule out the silver and gold colors they really accent the red and green colors. A nice bridal bouquet for a Christmas themed wedding is red roses surrounded by the greenery with a silver and gold or one of the other attached to the bouquet holder that flows down. For the toss away bouquet you can make a mini replica of your bridal bouquet and add a few plastic Christmas ornaments such as gold or silver bells. The maid of honor and bridesmaids bouquets can resemble the brides on a much smaller scale and have the greens inserted in the bouquet instead of surrounding it. To add a little Christmas cheer to the bouquets you can make silver or gold enclosures like you did with the greenery for the brides’bouquet. Or you can use a chain of silver or gold or both colors of string beads and intertwine them in the bouquet. A small ornament such as a bell or a white dove is a nice added touch as well. The flower girl can toss red and green rose petals down the isle. Her basket can be decorated in a slightly more child like manner. Using red and green ribbons made from the mulberry paper and white or colored small snowflakes. If she is real young you can add a little plastic Santa clause to her basket. She will love it and your guests will be reminded of how thoughtful you are. Corsages can be made from mums, Poinsettias or Chrysanthemums. Make the flowers large and use a large green leaf. A little white dove or gold and silver bell set can be attached near the bottom of the flower. For the ceremony you can decorate the church with Poinsettias or mums and use a red and green twisted ribbon to attach them to the pews. You can use the same flowers in white for the alter. For the reception you can make mulberry or crepe paper flowers attached to gold or silver strings of beads to decorate the entranceway, an arch, the back of the chairs and the cake and gift table. Centerpieces can be a combination of red, green, white, gold and silver paper flowers. Decorate the vase or container with little plastic Christmas ornaments and glue them to the vases. It is the end of the year, and it is time to plan for Christmas. With great food and festive spirit, Christmas is a joyous celebration we look forward to. However, if you are on of those who are allergies prone, it is a different story. Christmas is also associated with seasonal allergens such as the pollen from Christmas trees, the scent from Christmas candles, the mold from old Christmas ornaments. Most of all, the allergy prone has to combat with food allergies in all the Christmas goodies. Currently, the only cure for people who are allergy-sensitive is to prevent intake of foods which makes them allergic or what is termed as “allergens. ” To avoid food allergy attacks, it is a must to carefully prepare the food that will be consumed by allergy-sensitive people. Here are some tips if you are preparing “allergen” free food. Egg-free Diet
Over reaction of the immune system in the body when proteins from the eggs are ingested causes egg allergy.
You need to avoid prepared foods wherein albumin, egg, and other egg substitutes are present if you have allergies with egg. There are different egg substitute which you incorporate on your cooking recipe such as:
- Puree from apricot
- Plain gelatin with warm water
- Mix of baking powder, vinegar and liquid
You need to check the appropriate amount of each item before you prepare the above-mentioned substitutes. Peanut-free Diet
All kinds of nut as well as foods that may contain “peanut protein” should be prevented for consumption if you happen to belong to people who have peanut allergies.
These days, there are a lot of peanut-free recipes you can prepare. To name a few of peanut-free recipes are: (1) SoyNut Butter Cookies; (2) Smoothie made from Super Soy; (3) Tofu Pie made from SoyNut and Banana; (4) Ginger soup; and (5) Sauce prepared from SoyNut.
It has been discovered that “soy nut” is the best substitute for food preparation which is free from peanut. A soy nut does not belong to the “nut” family since the term is coined for soybeans that are drenched and baked for a crispier taste. Milk-free Diet
Milk allergy is an allergic response of the immune system when an individual has consumed one or more proteins acquired from cow’s milk.
If you are allergic to milk, you need not consume foods or beverages which contain milk, butter, different types of cheese, and sour creams. Some of dairy-free recipes which you may want to prepare are: (1) Potato Soup which are homemade; (2) Grilled Salmon; (3) Shrimp which is marinated then grilled; (4) Pecan snack; and (5) Spaghetti with No Red Sauce.

Why Sending Paper Christmas Cards Is Better? Check These 3 Reasons

Paper Christmas cards or Christmas e cards? This is a very common question when it comes to the most important holiday season in a year.
Most of people choose to send Christmas greeting cards online because they want to save their time and money. However I usually go for paper greeting cards.
You may not agree with me, so here are the 3 reasons why I think paper cards are the best choices:1) Keep the Christmas greetings for a longer time eve a life time.
These cards make sure that your close friends and family members can keep and treasure your personalized holiday greetings. On the other hand, if I ask you where are the Christmas e cards you received from your friends last Christmas, I bet you have no idea where they are. 2) Show people your personality and your care about them.
It’s a lot of fun when you send personalized paper Christmas cards by making your own with die-cuts, rubber stamps, or designer paper.
One of my favorite greeting card ideas is angel Christmas cards which are holiday cards with images of angels as the focus point in the Christmas card design.
Another idea use Christian clip arts and adding Christmas card verse. You can use clip arts like angels, the three wise men, Mary and Joseph in the manger with baby Jesus. Also add contemporary Christmas clip arts, such as reindeer, snowman, Xmas tree, Christmas ornament, etc. I must remind you use “Blessed Christmas” instead of “Merry Christmas” if you’re making a Christian Christmas greeting card.
For people who love pets, you can make pet photo or picture card for them. For example, you can use any kitty rubber stamps with kittens playing with a ball of thread or doing other cute activities. This is cute. 3) Family photos – It’s the best time to use them!
If you are good at taking digital photos, instead of just another typical card with a picture of Santa Claus or a snowman, or other such typical images, you can now send far more personalized paper Christmas cards that are relevant to both you and the recipient. And the beauty if it is in its simplicity – all you need is a digital camera and a computer.
Once you have taken your photos, the next thing to do is to upload them to your computer so that they’re easily accessible when you need to transfer them to an online photo site. This is where you can use the various tools that companies such as Shutterfly. com and Tinyprints. com have on their websites. Using these tools, you can add various effects such as festive costumes, additional winter background effects, and many other features your digital camera software wouldn’t come supplied with.
The true beauty of these sites and more is that for those of you who love traditional Christmas cards, you don’t need to forego this touch even with online Christmas cards. Although mainly used for creating the cards and then sending them via your email system, you can also create the cards and then turn them into ‘hard copy’ cards.
Ok, it’s very enough to show you why I choose to use paper Christmas cards and make it on your own.
Just imagine when you say “Don we now our festive holiday appear!” or you find your dog love wearing costumes and posing for holiday photos, you know what you should do for your paper Christmas cards.
Have fun!

What Christmas Ornaments Can Be Made From Soda Cans?
Here in Salt Lake City, there’s a Christmas fundraiser called “Festival of Trees”, which benefits a local children’s hospital. You submit a tree which is auctioned off, and the proceeds go to the hospital. I’m submitting a tree, and I’m going to use only diet coke cans and lights to decorate it. Please help me come up with the ideas for cutting, folding, or punching the cans and manipulating them into stunning decorations! Be descriptive – you can even email me at Lmevans79@yahoo.com if you want to submit a sketch or photograph. Thanks!
